Jungle Maya Expedition in Mexico...Finally!

Finally we were able to upload the rest of our pictures from this excursion we took in Mexico. It was by far our favorite day of our vacation. We went to this tiny Mayan village and did a high adventure day full of activities. Enjoy the pictures. There are a couple pictures of our tour guides named Rodrigo and Debby. We also enjoyed getting to know this one couple from England too. They were so cute and we bonded with them moreso than anyone else on the trip.

Wow...how nice!

So for those of you who don't know, we haven't had internet for the last six months. Super annoying and a pain, but we finally took the plunge and got it. Wow it is so nice having it and I hope to start updating my blog a lot more now. So, people who read my blog, it would be nice if you comment. That would give me more incentive to update it more often.

Aug 22 was Andrew's 30th birthday. I love him so much and am so thankful to be married to my best friend. Cancun Mexico 2011

We just got back from a week in Cancun Mexico and had a blast! I would definately recommend this destination to anyone. It was beautiful, most everyone spoke English, amazing weather, and very safe for tourists. We truly had a worry-free vacation! Our favorite part was this excursion we took in a small jungle community where we repelled into a cave (cinota), went on ziplines through the treetops, snorkeled in an under-water cavern, and went on a 4X4 bumpy ride in the jungle! We loved it. This vacation was much needed and we will have memories from it to cherish for the rest of our lives!

Update of July and Aug 2011

The summer has been flying by for me! Where did it go? Summer is probably my favorite time of year, because I love warm weather. Anyways, for all those who have been wondering what we have been up to...the answer is...not a whole lot. Our life mostly consists of working, working out, and eating! Boring, huh? Anyways, one thing I have really gotton into this summer is running. I don't do it because I absolutely love it...I do it to get into better shape. I have really enjoyed doing my runs around the river though, because it is so beautiful!!! Here are a few updated pictures and one of course is Andrew and I at our favorite restaraunt "Da Pineapple Grill". Surprise huh? That is our favorite thing to do is going out to eat. What can we say? We love food and that is why I have to work my butt off in the gym to look even presentable. Okay enough about food. There are also a couple of pictures at Andrew's 30th birthday celebration at the top. Our summer is going well. We are staying busy and just don't want it to end.

Lots to Update

I know I have been soooo bad about updating my blog the last two months. Sorry. Since my last post, my sister Rachael graduated high school, I ran in a 10k and another 5k, and our friends Tahsha and Jordan came to visit us for a weekend. We had so much fun with them! My 10k was called the Scenic River 10k and my time was 57:13. My last 5k I ran in was on the 4th of July and called the Firecracker 5k. My time for that was 25:31. I am really starting to like running more than in the past. As for Andrew and I in general...we are just staying busy working and living normal life!

These are a few pics of some of my nieces and nephews. I love them so much! I took a walk around the green belt with my sister Wendy the other day and we got fried. It was fun though and a beautiful day. The one with Kyler and I was right before he left to Reno. I miss him already. I had him give me goodbye kisses (Candice don't get mad). The others are taken right after I finished my 5k just yesterday. I ran the whole 3.1 miles!!! I was so proud of myself. I am out of shape, so that was good for me. By the way I was such a retard and forgot to look at my exact time I finished, but I think it was around 27-28 minutes.
